“Pleasant, comfortable stay”
The room was clean and comfortable and the location was good. Parking was a little high at $18.00 per night, but it was securely gated. Although not traveling with children at this time, the rooms are set up to provide privacy and would be a good hotel to bring children. Breakfast was a little sparse, but we came late. The City is within walking distance over the bridge.

The expedia website told me that parking was included in the rate I paid (there was a cheaper option for the same room that did not include parking). But, when I checked in, they tried to tell me I had to pay an additional fee for parking. I had to explain to them I already paid for parking and they accepted my explanation. however, when I checked out, they again tried to charge me for parking. So, I had to explain again that I already paid for it. That was my only probelm. Everything else about the hotel was great.
“Will go back if our travels take us back to Pittsburgh”
Wonderful Wonderful Hotel!!!! We checked in for the weekend with 6 kids - Our concern when we travel with our gang is if it is a family friendly hotel. While overall the Hyatt has more of a business feel - it was wonderful - the pool and breakfast made the difference with the kids.....

Very polite and professional staff. Everything was clean. Bed very comfortable. Excellent location in the city. Will definitely stay there again when we go back.

Primarily a business hotel, yet the comfort and service were both great. All staff were friendly - always asking how things were, anything they can do to help, etc. Room was spacious and comfortable - all the amenities you'd want. Breakfast very good, grab and go section for food and drink was nice, and a small bar. Didn't use indoor pool or workout room, yet both looked good. Convenient location - right by both ball parks and casino. Directly across from River Walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
“Would go back again, esp. for a game.”
Hotel just opened in Nov. 2010, so it was spotless. Large suites were very accomodating: HUGE TV, lounging area, king size bed. Great breakfast included; can order off menu if desired, Starbucks coffee served. The $18 parking was a little steep, however you could go in and out of lot using hotel card. Less expensive parking lots are nearby, if you didn't plan on using your car while you were there. Walking distance to PNC, Heinz Field, good restaurant.
