"Island House is conveniently located, and from the outside the aesthetic is decent. The inside could use improvement; the rooms are semi upgraded. Bathrooms are relatively new, but the rooms still have popcorn ceilings, carpet, and box air conditioning. The walls are so thin, you can hear your neighboring guest cough. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, but the Hilton is wasting a superb beachfront property by skimping on the renovations. "

Sno-cones every afternoon. Coffee/hot tea all day. 6 floors, 2 elevators, on the beach. Rooms are small but shower was spacious. Balcony only wide enough to stand (no chairs - unless your room is on the end, balcony is bigger with seating). Not a lot of storage for clothing or food,...
