"Well located boutique hotel (needs freshening up?)"
Stayed here a few times before and the location is fab - easy walk to all of Clifton, Cabot Circus shopping and the bars and restaurants of old market and the waterfront. Boutique style decor still fresh in the main areas but possibly a little tired in the room we had. Very tired and/or poorly maintained lift which was fine for us as we used the stairs but may be less so for other guests. Very helpful and attentive staff. All in all an enjoyable stay and we will use again tho if you paid rack rate (not Expedia rate) you should expect more.

"Brigstow has it all."
The Brigstow is a lovely hotel located right on the canal. We arrived from the train via ferry (like a Venetian gondola!) with the stop right outside the door. A tour boat was also able to stop there. The room was quiet and well-appointed. We reunited with friends there are were undisturbed as we sat long in restaurants and lobby. The meals in the hotel were excellent with a wonderful breakfast buffet and gourmet dinner.

"Nice hotel. Good location"
Hotel was very good, although we had to ask for the 4 trays left out in the corridor by other guests, for over 5 hours ,to be removed.

"Good central location close to Cabot Circus"
Stayed here for a course and enjoyed the central location - although a little noisy if your room is street side (main drag for very busy hospitals), the room was a good size with bed an sofa bed, bath and shower over and all expected amenities. Both the bar and restaurant offered reasonably priced and generously sized portions, but the service was a little slow and food lacked flavour on occasion. However, it was very easy to go out if you wanted to. The Academy (course location) was also a good location and offered a choice of beverages, pastries and sweets throughout the day. All staff were pleasant and helpful without being sycophantic.

"Boutique hotel, quiet and comfortable"
We needed to stay in Bristol for a few days and whilst searching for a hotel came across the Berkeley Square. We thought the cost seemed reasonable and we thought 'it would do' for a few nights. We were pleasantly surprised and it was really lovely. In a good part of the town, near shops and transport but tucked away in a leafy square - perfect! Would definitely recommend.
