"Hotel was clean and room was a good size. However breakfast is real let down. Orange juice ran out, hot selection was cold and did not look very appetising, sausages were very pale and burst their skins. "

"A very clean room and bathroom. Room amenities were good, apart from only having 1 bed pillow each which wasn’t to our liking. If staying at this property, perhaps recommend staying on 1st floor as our room was ground floor and the noise from upstairs guests was very loud - not much in terms of sound insulation. Room door and lock didn’t seem very secure or sturdy - perhaps this can be improved. Quite a significant gap between door and frame meaning noise, draft and light came through gaps. The...

"Unfortunately we arrived and Expedia had over booked us for a family room. But the amazing staff soon sorted it for us and we ended up have the most amazing stay. I highly recommend the hotel. Bar meals or room service not so much very expensive for what you get if I’m honest. But can’t fault the hotel stay or staff. "

"Characterful property in open countryside with good free parking. A car is needed for getting about as no immediate public transport (40 minute walk to nearest bus stop). Set in lovely grounds with seating outside for warmer days and plenty inside when it isn't so nice. Large room with bath and shower though minmal sockets and not near bed. Good for relaxing and not being distracted by phones. There was an event on the evening we stayed but music stopped by 11pm. Great for a relaxing break. "
