"This hotel is a nice gem nestled in the Normandy country side. It's surrounded by a golf course and then rural villages and fields, and it's a nice relaxing stop. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was welcoming and friendly."

"Stayed right on Juno Beach and did all of the Normandy Landing sites. Quaint provincial hotel with a good restaurant. The staff were delightful in dealing with a couple of language challenged American guys. A great time, great place, town, great people. Forget the tours. You experience so much more planning and driving on your own "

"You need to know where the rooms are; on the map, it looks right on the beach, and the rooms have sea views. However, when they say “Côté jardin”, it’s another building, a few doors down and across the street. If you get a room on the second floor, there is no elevator so be aware. These are just practical tips, don’t let it scare you away. The place was great, still mere metres from the beach, very clean, the breakfast was nice, the staff is excellent. Make sure to try their restaurant, it is great. We had a family room, with twin beds in a loft, which the kids loved. It’s a nice walk to the Juno Beach centre, which every Canadian has to see once. In the morning there is a fish market, giving you a local vibe."

"You won’t regret booking this delightful boutique hotel. It’s clean and cute with upscale fixtures and services. While I would not consider this a “Spa”, they did have hot tubs available for private use. And you might need one if you actually swam in the ocean. The setting is lovely. The facility is sparking clean, recently remodeled, and the staff was kind and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the charming town of Melville~Franceville. If Iget to return, I’m booking the ocean view with a patio!"

"Lovely historic building - located in a small town, close to Caen, Bayeux (with its famed tapestry), Normandy D-day history sites. Very clean. Restaurant was great. They have a tennis court and a little farm with VERY cute bunnies. Only thing to note is that they don’t supply conditioner so ladies bring your own or let your hair get frizzy like I did. "

"Beautiful location. Very nice manager. Wonderful updated, large room. Breakfast has many choices and delicious French custom in a nice white linen dining room. Close to visit all of the D Day beaches. Make sure to reserve a parking space. You will need it. "
