“St. Paul in Style”

We had a great weekend at the St. Paul. It's been about 6 years since we stayed here and we're glad to see that this beautiful building is being maintained so well. The staff were wonderful, as well.

“There's a first time for everything”

I think the hotel was amazing. My husband and I weren't used to the service to be honest but we are so very glad that we booked it there. The concert that we were going to was right across the park way which made it very convenient. We will be going back there again if we go to another concert.

My husband and I stayed overnight at The St. Paul Hotel when we attended a Minnesota Wild game. It was a wonderful experience and we will stay at The St. Paul Hotel again in the future.

“Exceptional value in a high-end hotel”

Hotel service was exceptional. Our only problems occurred during crowded periods. Our check-in was delayed by a large number of check-ins and limited front-desk staff. Retrieving our car through valet parking was complicated on Saturday evening by conference and other activities in the hotel. Room and amenities were first-rate. Hotel was quiet.

“Gracious, Comfortable, and Festive!”

I loved the St. Paul Hotel. I was a classic old hotel from an era long gone. My room was spacious, the bed and linens comfortable, and the lobby (with three wedding receptions in progress) festive. The complimentary valet parking was a HUGE plus, especially since I did not arrive until almost midnight. The service was delightful. The business center was small, only two computers, but free. Another plus.

“outdated heating/cooling system”

This historic hotel is a fine example of preservation, beauty, with first class modern amenities. My only negative comment is regarding the heating/cooling system. My stay in late April during moderate weather saw the hotel's system still operating in the heating mode which made the room rather warm, with only the possibility of raising the window about an inch to cool and freshen the room.

“Just down the road”

perfect weekend for our 17th anniversary. Did not expect the rooms to be as large as they were. Not typical for old, city hotels. Will keep an eye out for specials for another quick getaway. We live just 2 miles away. Ice skating in Rice Park, dinner at Kincaids. Memorable weekend.

“A treat in the grand style.”

Temperature control in the individual rooms is not well regulated. Ice-cold when we checked in, but once the heat started, it was impossible to get the temperature away from tropical. Toilet needed to be flushed several times - poor water pressure. But an awesome experience overall. Beautiful lobby with live music on Friday evening. Outstanding restaurant. Courteous staff and easy access to the Ordway Theatre.
