This Hyatt Place has dropped the traditional lobby and front desk in favor of a contemporary open area called the Gallery, with a check-in kiosk and the expertise of a host, who is available 24 hours a day.

The Gallery area houses the Bakery Café, which includes a coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour touch-screen kiosk for ordering freshly prepared hot and cold items; guests pay by swiping either room key or credit card. A self-help case of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks is also available 24 hours; a complimentary Continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee is served each morning.

“Need soft drink vending machines!”

The only item I would advise the hotel changing is their vending machines: it's a six story hotel and vending is on floors 3 and 5 (not posted anywhere conspicuous), and they do not have soft drink machines. I spent fifteen minutes scouring the floors while my pizza got cold, only to find that the front desk was the only place to purchase a soft drink.

“Pleasing”

The staff was very friendly and courteous on our arrival and with our first visit to this Hyatt' we were shown around to the different areas of interest. Room was very relaxing and comforting. We will definitely stay at this Hyatt again.

Friendly staff, hotel and room was clean would definitely stay again. Highly recommended. 3 min drive to mall and 5 min drive to terminal. Free parking and free wi-fi.

“Exquisite customer service & wonderful beds!”

The staff working on the evening of our arrival were most accomodating. They assisted us not only with an evening meal but also directions to a nearby Scandanavian restaurant. The beds were fabulous. The room was very reasonably priced. We had just come from another place of lodging 45 minutes away that didn't even have a coffee pot in the room and no elevator for second floor rooms--and their rates were five dollars less! We would definitely return!

“Would stay again in a heart beat..”

Location was good but hard to find. Needs more surrounding restaurants to choose from. Helpful staff when needing directions. We only stayed for 2 nights and spent very little time there, so we didn't use the amentities much. Room cleanliness was well maintained and serviced. The hotel as a whole was clean and upkept.

“will go again”

Thought it was a great hotel. Very friendly staff, close to airport, mall of america and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay, it was our weekend to go to the vikings game. Will go back again

“Pretty Nice”

The hotel staff was very nice. The continental breakfast was just right. Loved the decor of the lobby and rooms. Since we were so close to the airport, the plane traffic was a little loud but after a long day of sightseeing, I didn't notice it too much once you fell asleep! I would stay again if I ever came back to this area. Mall Of America was closer than I thought.
