“I will return!”

A great place, great location, close to the light rail and close to restaurants/shops. The price is perfect and there was plenty of downtown parking. I'd definitely recommend!

“Great room and price”

Stayed in the king suite was very comfortable and was of a very high standard for the money paid. Would highly recommend this for its location, price, and service the hotel offers. Will be heading back next time in town!

“good times is Minnesnowta”

I'm not someone who wants too much fuss or service in a hotel. A decent clean and spacious room, respectful neighbours, hot water in the taps and a telly usually suits me fine. In all of these respects the hotel fitted the bill PLUS it is just a couple of blocks from downtown Minneapolis and has a heated indoor swimming pool. The Twin Cities area is not somewhere that I would visit every year but I would definitely recommend.

“Comfort and economy”

Stayed in building B, 4th floor room overlooking atrium with pool and hottub. Really cold in city during stay, but very nice to open the curtain on the atrium space. Comfortable armchair with ottomon. Good outlets for computer and iphone. King bed single - nice not to have the second bed in the room. Ordered room service from affiliated restaurant, was provided a complimentary warm baked bread along with Nicoise salad and roasted asparagus. Staff helped me find the simple route to the Skyway - hotel is just a block away from an entry point.

“Very nice stay”

We arrived just in time for warm cookies just out of the oven! Also, our daughter was in a piano contest in Minneapolis and the hotel staff was very willing to allow her to practice her piece on their grand piano in the lobby area; that was very helpful in getting her prepared. Overall, our visit was very enjoyable and the room and overall cleanliness of the building was excellent. We will make the Normandy our regular hotel in the M-SP area.

“Cozy, quaint, third-generation family owned hotel in the heart of downtown Minneapolis.”

Hotel is inexpensive and conveniently located. Easily accessible and close to downtown shopping, convention centers, and sports venues.

“Affordable hotel downtown Minneapolis”

My friends and I stayed in a room here for a conference downtown. I was here 4 years ago and decided to stay in this hotel again because of the price and location. The room was large and clean and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our favorite part was the freshly baked cookies and cold milk served each night at 10pm. My only caution would be to realize that the streets in Minneapolis are a bit confusing because there is a 4th Ave & 4th Street, etc. Just make sure to read the map carefully so you don't get lost!
