“Hotel Hermosa”
NIce Hotel, well located, near the airport and near to the pier. the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
“Highly recommend!”
We were very satisfied with the Hotel Hermosa (and had three rooms). It was clean, the staff was pleasant, the breakfast was great, etc. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. When we checked in, we actually had one more person than what we originally planned and the woman at the front desk changed the type of room at no extra cost. We would definitely stay there again.
“Great Hermosa experience”
Nice hotel especially for the money. If you get the right room, beautiful ocean views as well. This hotel does not have an airport shuttle, as advertised on Expedia. Close to anything you might need, groceries, entertainment, convenience stores. Very professional and accommodating staff.

Very good value. Clean lobby, room & pool. Breakfast was sufficient but a little short (no eggs, bacon, sausage or waffles) compared to most hotels. Staff was friendly and cleanly people did a great job, despite the messes we made. Convient location, we walked everywhere from the hotel (including Manhattan Beach).
“Value”
Besides a clean room you also get : Free internet, free gym membership to a Balley's across the street for the duration of your stay, free continental breakfast and free parking! Foe families you couldn't do better for the money. I was there for business mainly so I didn't need the frills. If I had business as far away as Santa Monica I may stay here. The decor is a bit stale but who cares- it kind of feels like your staying at your Aunt's house. An outstanding value.
“Would stay again”
My 11-year old grandson and I stayed 7 days the last of July. We were very pleased with everything. The room was very clean--cleaning staff very accommodating to clean when we wanted. Beds very comfortable, convenient parking, breakfast well organized--they do have waffles! Grandson enjoyed the pool. Not crowded ever but usually someone to interact with. It was very cool during our stay, but he was very comfortable with the heated pool. I wouldn't again pay the extra for ocean view with balcony. Not much of a view and we didn't get the balcony--but I didn't complain. I think all the other rooms on that side had balconys. Overall, a very nice experience. Check out the weather. I didn't expect it to be so cool the end of July.
“Hotel Hermosa... The Best!!”
WONDERFUL!!! Is the best word to describe our trip.The staff working there was so friendly and made every effort to make our stay there the best and it really was. The beach is a ten to fifteen min walk from the hotel, but in that weather we didn't even notice. Loved the free parking garage, continental breakfest, garden area, and view. We will, without a doubt, be back!
“Excellent hotel, would return again.”
Excellent value for a 2* hotel, we thought it should be higher. A good variety of breakfast was included. Very helpful staff. Lovely swimming pool, whirlpool and garden. Near a main road but the noise was minimal and didn't disturb our sleep as we kept the window closed. Air conditioning available. Within a short driving and walking distance to a very chic Manhattan Beach area!
“Great, but not amazing.”
The hotel was perfect for my 4 night trip to Los Angeles. It did exactly what I needed, and that was housing me for my stay. The beds are comfortable, the maintenance of the hotel good, and the staff was pleasant. There was nothing very grand about the hotel, but it was definitely comfortable. Note: The breakfast was just as good as cafeteria food at school... It's free, though it's not worth going to, since all of their food is microwavable, cereal, or toast. If you want a quality breakfast, there are plenty of places to go to around the area that will be worthwhile and around $10 -- still very cheap.
