“First time To Cali”

This was my family's first trip to LA so we were unfamiliar with the area. We used our GPS system to find the hotel with no problem. The hotel is only a 15 minute drive from LAX. The area surounding the hotel has several grocery stores and drug stores but not many sit down restaurants, you will have to get on the highway for a good restaurant. I wasn't sure what to expect from the hotel when I arrived but was extremely satisfied. My wife and I are extremely picky and cleanliness is extremely important to us. The hotel lobby was very clean and when we arrived in our room it was also extremely clean. There was a full size refridgerator, stove top, microwave, and all the dishes and utensils you could possibly need. There was a very nice flat screen tv in the room as well. The room was comfortable but not overly spacious. The bathroom and the bed were extremely clean. If I had any complaints about the room it was that the bed wasn't that comfortable, the mattress wasn't firm or soft and the first night I woke up because I couldn't get comfortable. I would also recommend a room on one of the lower floors because our room was on the top floor facing the highway which also was next to a gas station so I saw lights all night long. Also be aware because the hotel is close to the airport you will hear planes during the night as well as LA trains. For some reason there seemed to be a good bit of police and firetrucks up and down the highway throughout the night.

I felt like I was at home....very comfortable beds....all the amenities of home and a very pleasant staff..When visiting the L.A.area this is my first choice

Stayed for a week, near the railway but car is recommended for evening. Room and hotel very clean, cooking facilities brilliant, BBQ & small seating area although smokers took it over. Only issue no where to sit outside, free secure car park, free laundry and Gym. Very near airport but surprisingly not noisey. Good as a base

“candlewood suites is my number one choice”

just excellent service all the way round, whenever i am in town i always stay here for the price you cant beat it nice comfortable rooms, like your staying in an apartment of your own.

i really enjoyed my stay at the candlewood hotel.rooms were very clean and personel at hotel was really friendly and helpful.the only complaint i had was the television had a lots of channels but the same this pictures on multiple channels.i will definitely stay here again when i am in la.

We go for medical visits to UCLA. for the price and ease to the 405 freeway it has been a godsend...we often stay a week at a time so to be able to cook and do laundry is great...there are lots of places to eat and a Ralphs grocery nearby.

very good hotel, we went to los angeles i n car, and the hotel was near the freway, so i didnt have any trouble find it, very comfortable, clean, parking space, they have complete kitchen in the room (fridge, microwave, stove), i was expectin complimentary breakfast, but since they have full kitchen, they dont serve breakfast, overall, we were please on everything

“A roomy stopover”

Overall, not too bad. The room and hotel was not that special but with coin laundry, gym, free wireless internet and 24 hour pantry we could not ask for more for the price.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and nice. Although there was a free parking ramp for guests there wasn't enough parking spac because security closed the 3rd level. The rooms were smaller than what the pictures showed which was fine but that also meant the bed was alot smaller. When we got into the room it had a really strong of cleaning agent which lasted our entire one night stay. Overall, the hotel was pretty good for what we paid for.
