Forest Suites Resort is a South Lake Tahoe hotel nestled in an intimate alpine environment, just steps away from year-round South Shore recreation activities, a few minutes’ walk from casinos, and blocks from the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe. South Lake Tahoe boasts 300 plus days of sunshine and runs the gamut of year round activities.
If you’re considering Lake Tahoe for a meeting or conference destination, look no further: Forest Suites meeting facilities can accommodate groups of up to 50 people. We provide five meeting rooms that can be configured to any event, from board meetings to banquets. With gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe and activities aplenty, it will be no problem motivating attendees to get work done: there’s fun to be had whether it’s a dip in the Jacuzzi between meetings or a mountain biking tour to wrap up the day.

Forest Suites offers spacious, non-smoking accommodations. Our traditional hotel rooms offer a choice of either a King or two double beds and feature a coffee maker, cable TV, and air conditioning. This is of course in addition to our spacious and welcoming suites: choose a one or two bedroom apartment style suite. Perfect for families or larger groups, all suites provide a full kitchen and living/dining area.

Recreation
Our location and suites set up for perfect Lake Tahoe family vacations, as well as providing some well needed rest and relaxation with friends or as a couple. With two pools and spas, you can relax and soak your muscles after a day on the mountain or simply relax and soak up some sun. Our location truly sets us apart from the others: a walk across the street allows for grocery shopping, helping you stock your full in-suite kitchens for family meals. If you prefer not to cook on your Lake Tahoe vacation, a myriad of restaurants are right behind us in Heavenly Village and surrounding area. Access to Heavenly Resort, the beaches of Lake Tahoe, and South Lake Tahoe casinos are all but a short walk away.

“Enjoyed Our Stay”
Great setting, quiet and extremely convenient location to everything we needed. My wife and I thought the price was right for the attributes this hotel provided. This hotel has seen some upgrades and could use some more but for it's age we thought it was very clean and comfortable. We plan on staying here again.

Everything was great. The resort was near everything. The condo/ apartment was in good condition and were very clean. Continental breakfast was very good as well as the service. Great bargain too.

Petit hotel, comme tout ce qui se trouve à Carmel ; calme, petite chambre pour les USA, mais très fonctionnelle, meublée avec goût et même très chic, propre. L'accès au 1er étage se fait à pied, seul point négatif. Petit déjeuner fruits, céréales en panier posé à la porte vers 8 h 15, pas d'autre possibilité ; cafetière dans la chambre ; parking en plein air. Surtout l'hôtel est en plein centre du "village", près de tout ce qui compte. On est en quelques instants à la route principale pour visiter les environs, qui le méritent bien: Pebble Beach, Big Sur, 17 miles Road. Cet hotel représente bien cette ville délicieuse et raffinée. Seul bémol, internet gratuit mais seulement WiFi.

“Good for families”
Great location and idea for families. We had 6 people in one unit. Close to the gondola, restaurants and shops. The unit has small kitchen which was basic but adequat and access to the pool. I would go use this hotel again.

This hotel is situated in a nice, quiet area - but very accessible to everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. The rooms are dated, nothing too fancy, but comfortable and clean.

We went for a bachelorette party and had so much fun. We had the 2 bedroom suite and it worked out perfect for us. The rooms there nice and clean; and the pool was nice and warm.

Accommodations of the hotel fit our needs very well,and would not hesitate to stay there again. Clean and convenient for our needs.

Complimentary breakfast is much better than average. staff is very friendly. We've stayed here twice in the past 3 years and it was even cleaner and more spruced up this year than before.

We had a two bedroom suite, one for each of our two young children -- a perfect arrangement for sleeping. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was handy. The location was very convenient with a grocery store, Starbucks (!), and family dining all within a short drive (or even walking distance). The staff at Forest Suites was incredibly friendly and helpful. Every time I walked by the desk, I left with a smile on my face. A great value for the money!
