"The stay was great, Frank was helpful and welcoming, parking was secure, the location and views were wonderful. It is easily the best house in the area with friendly staff that made you feel like you were part of the family. I felt like I was visiting a relative’s home, and reminded me of Rio. It felt like an uncle let me stay at his beach house for the weekend. I loved it, and it gave a real “slice of life” perspective to my Dominican Republic vacation."

"We chose this property for our annual family gathering. As a point of reference, last year we rented a home in the Four Seasons in Punta Mita and in many respects this was superior. Let me start with the staff. They were wonderful and extremely accommodating. The food was great, varied and timely. The home was exactly as described and very comfortable. And Ivy, the owner could not have been more helpful to me, my wife and our four adult children. Two things to note. We used the recommended grocery and golf cart vendors and while the service they provided was excellent there were issues. The golf carts were old and broke down a couple of times. It was a minor inconvenience and they were lightening fast in resolution but I would be more careful on my next rental to get newer models. As for the groceries, it was very convenient to have everything at hand and very plentiful but Iit was surprisingly expensive. Next time, I will be very specific about what we want (don’t say milk - say two gallons). The grocery store in the community is pretty good and not as expensive as we thought it would be. If you want the convenience of not having to think about getting food - they took care of it."

"This property is very unique. It is located in a very busy area of La Romana. The word "Oasis" is exactly the right word for this hotel. It was a clean, very well designed hotel with a beautiful mural that you might miss if you were just driving through. But the best part was the staff. Everyone, from the owner, the manager and even people working on the building of their soon to be opened pool, treated me like I was a guest in their home. The manager provided me with suggestions on where to go and eat and also provided me with a transfer to the port when I was departing. I am very happy to have found this place and if I am in the area again, I will certainly stay again."

"We were over an hour late flying into PUJ and late with van transportation to the hotel. Out driver was able to contact the hotel and get us checked in well after 9pm local time. The weekend attendant was AWESOME! He made sure we were able to get into the room and walked us to a local place to get some dinner and beers. Highly recommend Pamares Suites for your stay in LaRomana."
