"Beautiful location (waterfront), extremely friendly and helpful staff, close to lots of walkable dining options,…. Only con was that there were very few close parking spaces. One night we ended up parking in a pay to park lot about 5-10 minutes walk away. Not ideal, but not a deal breaker. Still would recommend this hotel if staying in Portree."

For 2 days our toilet did not flush so we had to use the toilet by the golf shop—very inconvenient. The front desk said they would move us to another room after someone checked out. When I inquired about the new room the gentleman behind the front desk waved a piece of paper at me and said he had accepted a reservation on the...

"Beautiful spot. Very helpful and friendly staff. The food was wonderful. Our room was lovely. We’ve enjoyed the wildlife on the grounds-sheep, rabbits, pheasants, and all sorts of birds. Couldn’t be better!"
