Right in the center of things to do in Edinburgh with easy access to Waverly Train station. Hotel staff was exceptional! They even handled a unique request and did all the internet searches complete with maps & times to attend a special meeting. You wouldn't be disappointed choosing this hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and an excellent way to start the day. I can not say enough good things about these employees and hotel.

Simply excellent from start to finish. We were given a free upgrade but everything was brilliant.

I booked this hotel for it's location which was perfectly situated off the Royal Mile just down from St. Giles Cathedral. The staff went above and beyond your normal service! Our GPS kept saying we had arrived but we couldn't see the hotel because it forgot to have us go down this little road, so we pulled over after trying several times and called them. Someone actually walked to us and showed us where we needed to be! Very helpful with parking and restaurant suggestions. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. If I ever travel to Edinburgh again I will stay here.

Tastefully, sympathetically refurbished - wonderful flashes of tradition, history combined with clean, upswept modern. Staff is still old fashionedly kind, interested, outgoing - in modern parlance, service-oriented. Breakfast was efficiently organised in the Deli - I am sure room service would be good. Location fantastically central, as the name says.

the staff make this hotel. always a smile, nothing is ever too much for them. they were great with the kids and made them feel extra special. real Glasgow friendliness at this hotel.

Wonderful stay thoroughly recommend especially if you wish to take a dog.

Great duplex rooms, off-street parking and breakfast. I always appreciate being able to make coffee in my room with the the fresh ground coffee and cafetiere provided.

Great location, contemporary clean & welcoming hotel at a very affordable price we would definitely recommend this Hotel. If you are not a club reveller then ensure your room is not road facing or if it is make sure your are high up as it got quite noisy when the clubs kicked out
