    "Great hotel in great location"
My mother and I stayed at the Fraser Suites for 6 nights while in Edinburgh and were extremely pleased with the hotel. The hotel was in a perfect location - located only about 5 blocks from the castle and right in the midst of many of the shops and sights on the Royal Mile. All hop-on-hop-off buses make a routine stop less than 2 blocks from the hotel, and city bus service is equally available. St Giles Cathedral is right across the street. We had a room with two twin beds and it was nicely appointed, clean, and equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle. The room also had dishes and silverware for our use - we had our breakfast in the room just about every morning and sometimes also had dinner. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant that caters to the hotel provides a full buffet breakfast, which we enjoyed one morning, but for those who want a smaller option there is small restaurant next to the hotel that provides delicious foods, and St Giles Cathedral has a restaurant in the basement that serves a good breakfast (including a large bowl of Scottish porridge with grated apple, honey, and a jug of thick cream - absolutely divine!). We highly recommend this hotel to others.

    "What a wonderful hotel"
What a great stay we had in Glasgow at the Grand Central, ideally located for sight seeing and shopping. We got of the Airport bus and hotel was just across the road. Our room was clean and comfortable , we asked for a quiet room and ours was very quiet which was a suprise as Hotel by the railway station , although you would not know that from the quiet room we had. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food on offer, staff were polite, and extremely helpful nothing was too much trouble, well worth a stay a this hotel and we shall be sure to return
