"The best thing about this place is the staff"
This is a very nice hotel made even better by the staff. The facilities are better than average and I had a very comfortable stay. The rooftop pool is small but nice - great view of HCM from there. Everything is pretty much within walking distance. At the end of the day, this hotel is of a high standard, especially for the price. The incredible customer service from the staff makes it even more memorable and I would definitely go back.

"Pleasant stay"
We were greeted by the charming and lovely Fleur. She immediately made our family feel completely welcomed. Our children (4 & 6) were thrilled to be at the hotel and enjoyed the breakfast each morning. We would recommend staying here.

"Safe, secure, well located hotel. Nice staff."
I spent 3 nights in this hotel. I was impressed with the breakfasts. The exercise room could be upgraded, but worked well enough. If you need a reasonable place, close to Independence Palace, this is a good option.

"Good Location, Nice Hotel, Friendly Staff"
This hotel in District 1 is only a two minute walk from Ben Than Market, so is in a great position. It also has stunning views of HCMC from the pool rooftop particularly at night, the restaurant also has great views over the market. The rooms although small were comfortable and clean however we had a problem with our shower that drained so slowly it would flood the bathroom. What stood out about this hotel was the friendly, attentive staff. Thu, Phuoc and Huan in the restaurant and breakfast room were great always very welcoming, helpful and friendly - Phuoc even took a tray of breakfast down to our room for my daughter who had not made it to breakfast. The porters were also very observant - as we were heading out one day a porter approached us and advised my daughter to take her phone out of her back pocket as it would get stolen. On our return he noticed us coming up the street and ran up to help us with our bags. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Ha Hien Hotel

"good location"
The hotel was good value with free wifi, toothbrush, shampoo, soap etc and 2 complimentary bottles of water each day. They also provided a kettle, but the socket was under a desk and we had to unplug the fridge or TV to plug it in. The buffet breakfast was plentiful, although with fewer western choices than some of the other hotels we stayed in.

Le Duy Hotel

18-20 Nguyen Thi Nghia Street, Dist 1, Ho Chi Minh City - Map
"Great location, good price, very helpful staff"
My stay at the Le Duy Hotel in Saigon, Vietnam was a very good experience. The hotel is clean and offers a fabulous breakfast complete with an omlette/egg bar, fresh local fruits, American and Asian breakfast dishes and a variety of breads. The rooms are clean and offer an in-room safe for your money and valuables. The staff is extremely helpful and fluent in a variety of languages. My only concern was safety in the bathroom. Because the tub is elevated, one must take quite a step up to get into the tub. And then because there is not a sufficient barrier to prevent the shower from spraying all over the room, the floor gets wet and then stepping down from the tub onto the floor can be slippery and dangerous.

Breakfast spread was ok with quite good service provided by the waiters/waitress,but unfortunately 1 of the senior staff refuses to serves coffee and told us to self service instead by pointing to the coffee table at the corner.

Signature Boutique Hotel

"Value boutique hotel in Chinatown"
Most staff could speak English and very friendly. Not all of them seem knowledgeable about where to get some of my items that I wanted to buy. The rooms are spacious enough with lovely Deco. The see through bathroom was sexy. There were many channels to choose and they even had a keyboard which unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to switch the TV to PC mode for surfing. I didn't quite like standard of hygiene as the toiletries seem to be stored for some time or reused, eg. The toothpaste tubes were of different brands, there were slight discolouration at the bottom of the shampoo bottle, the plastic wrapping the slippers seem dirty with hairs and the slippers were a little stained. Breakfast was quite pathetic with just a few set options to choose. But it was easy to find food around the area. Overall it was still a good value boutique hotel.
