"Upon arrival we were greeted and offered to dine while we wait to check in. Check in was simple through an app and we were offered welcome cocktails. We did during our stay have some questions regarding the all inclusive menu as there were some restrictions we hadn't anticipated however the staff was very quick to respond and offer solutions so we could enjoy beverages we desired. "Great hotel. It is a bit dated. The room & linens were dated/worn. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is indeed one of the BEST I've had. Location is 8min walk to the Ferry port and 10 min. walk to the tourist pedestrian street. Our room faced the back and I was quite worried as it looked down onto a street which had a disco/nightclub and a strip club but there were no issues and we couldn't hear a thing. Roof top restaurant has great views. Food was decent but a bit pricey. Pool deck is nice...

"My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay, 5/5. The host Stelios is very welcoming, helpful and kind. The mansion is beautiful, our room was amazing with a private balcony and the pool looks over the valley and Heraklion. "Hotel Sofia is a very nice, well appointed hotel near the airport. Some late afternoon aircraft noise, but no problem overnight. On a side street so quiet, but only 100yds to public transport to city. Also a range of shops and eateries in same area. Pool area good. Breakfast had a good selection. Would recommend.
