"This rental greatly exceeded our expectations! The property is quiet, peaceful, extremely well maintained. Pool is beautiful and was never crowded. The condo itself is very comfortable, updated, clean. Kitchen is stocked with everything we could have possibly needed (and much more!). There is a nice lanai overlooking golf course. We had access to quality beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, and more. Area is very pleasant for walking - short walk to A-Bay, lot of shops and restaurants....

"Our second trip to this complex. Thus unit had 270* views of the island. Could see the observatories on Mauna Kea one clear morning. Great location, wonderful views and access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club provides fantastic snorkling. We grilled fresh fish and steaks nightly and enjoyed Kona Coffee each morning. Looking forward to our next visit! Amy was great!"

"Nice place, has everything. Only complaint was the upstairs Neighbor. Up at 5am stomping till 7am. Earplugs didn’t even help. Not the best thing to be woken up to on vacation every morning."

"Hannah and Tanner have a great place down a deadend, 1 lane road, in a beautiful and intimate neighborhood. The room is great, wood floors, cathedral ceiling, tiled bathroom, a/c, TV, etc. They are less than a mile from downtown Hilo. Don't be shy on asking them for advice on what's happening in the area - great communicators. Awesome place to call your base on the Hilo side."

"Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful, secluded, beautiful location. A ridiculously comfortable bed. The Bali-style open-air bathroom is unique and luxurious. And a gentle greeting from the house dog was a nice bonus."

"We are not resortish people and this was a great alternative. everything we needed was in walking distance or short drive. Nights were peaceful and we enjoyed the privacy of the pool and hot tub. The odd plane flying over when the winds were rarely in that direction was actually quite a site rather than annoyance. Jomo looked after a couple of requests immediately. Thanks for a great stay."

"The description is accurate, but as important - the house was very well stocked. Actual sharp knives and nonstick pans in a rental? Heck yes. We plan to come back to the big island, and when we do, this house will be our first choice."

"We enjoyed our stay. We stayed in E2 and it was clean, spacious and convenient for us. We loved everything about this place. The only downfall is waking up on the last day to wash laundry and check out by 10am. I wish we had a little more time to pack up and do laundry. "

"Staying at Sammy’s home was a life-changing experience. The entire property is spectacular; phenomenal views, the enchanting sounds of the coqui frogs and passing rain, and surrounded by nature’s beauty. The house is well stocked and beautifully renovated with moments around every corner to be appreciated. Watching the sunset from the pool and hot tub was the perfect way to end a long day of adventures. Far better than staying in a hotel. Best Vrbo rental and host…we will return for sure!"

We requested additional boogie boards and they were delivered right away. Keyless entry was ideal for all of us coming and going. "Beautiful place to stay but communication with the staff is difficult because office hours is 10 to 6 only. Don’t even put a number where you can contact after hours. I arrived at the property after 6 and l was struggled to find out how to check into my unit not knowing that they emailed me an instruction how to get into my unit"
