“Highway 1 Beauty”
Beautiful views of the ocean! Full breakfast was wonderful! This was the first stop on our 2 week CA vacation and it will be hard to beat!

Our family had a great time going to the tide pools, Point Arena Light House and whale watching. This hotel was a perfect get away and because of the full kitchen we were able to do most of our cooking verses eating out every night. which was a big savings. We have already recommended Surf Inn to several of our friends.

“What an ocean view!”
Checked into the motel, opened the drapes and had a great view of the Gualala State Beach and thundering ocean waves! Decided to add an extra day because of the view. Beds are overstuffed and comfortable; furniture older, but nice; great cable tv, and handy little dinette area. Would definitely stay again, as another lodge offers not much more for double the price.

THE MOTEL WAS VER CLEAN AND VERY QUITE. IT WAS ALSO OUR 51 ANNIVERSY.

The Surf is perfectly located in this charming town. There is a great sunset to view from the back of the property. The staff was really courteous and helpful. The restaurants in town are great, too.

Brought two business cards back with us to give to others - will definitely stay there again - the breakfast was outstanding - could use a little more room inside to eat - fine when the weather is good.

The best stay for resonable price we had in a long time. Ocean view, clean, full breakfast. We were very suprised.

Great Location. Well maintained. Staff was nice and friendly. If you want a place to stay with nothing else to do but watch the lovely beach/ watch TV this is a good idea. There is nothing much to do in the city of Gualala otherwise.
“Good stopping point”
Comfortable, reasonably priced hotel for a quick stop. Rooms are very small so wouldn't want a long stay, although you can sit outside if the weather is reasonable and watch the ocean and hummingbirds or take a short walk on the bluff. Breakfast isn't served until 8:30AM which is late if you want to get away. There is a rush for the couple of tables available as most want to get going. 7:30AM would be a better time to start.
