“seeing Glasgow”
Our flight was delayed till the next morning, called front desk, they were very helpful. Location was great for walking around to see the sites. Extremely easy to use the Glasgow Flyer to and from the airport.
“Closest hotel to Royal Concert Hall”
If you are going to a show at the Royal Concert Hall, this is the hotel for you. It's a stones' throw away and the hotel is situated very close to the town centre, meaning easy access to all the shops and the nearby cinema.
“holiday inn”
met with a really friendly member of staff who welcomed us. the receptionist knew all the answers to the questions we were asking. we had the car paked in one of Glasgows car parks for three days and the hotel had a deal with the council for overnight parking. Because we are priority club members we were given a voucher for use in the hotel restaurant.
“Overnight Stay”
Overnight stay - reception efficient. We were offered an upgrade and invited to book for dinner and breakfast. Prompt service when leaving
“Good hotel but not great value for money”
The main benefit of this hotel is its location - it's in the heart of Glasgow City Centre with fantastic shopping within a short walking distance. I was disappointed in the faciliites in the hotel for the price of the room though - my room was very small, had no bath, and had an old-style TV with only 8 channels. These are the facilities you can get in a budget hotel for half the price of the Holiday Inn's rate.
“Best thing is location”
Excellent central location. Lovely Spanish girl on reception. Good buffet breakfast. Only downside is that the central location means that it is quite noisy. Air-conditioning also very noisy but overall a good deal.
“Good deal”
Got a great deal on this hotel and our stay was very comfortable. The hotel rooms were quite small but were all recently refurbished and extremely comfortable. The choice of pillow softness is a great idea.
“Not impressed”
We only stayed for one night although we had booked two nights but had to leave early, the hotel did not refund the night that we didn't stay, the bed was uncomfortable, the shower leaked so much the floor got soaked, we found the staff were not very helpful upon check in. We stayed on the second floor and we could hear conversations on the street and that was with the window shut!! There is no parking at the hotel, you have to pay in the car park over the road which is twelve pound per day
“Nice hotel”
The hotel room is extremelly small but has renovated bathroons with excelent shower!! The bad is small and not very good. The breakfast is very expensive with good quality of food. The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant called Aubergine: marvelous food, excelent service and prices! There is no other place like this in Glasgow. If you stay at this hotel don't miss the restaurant!!
“not impressed”
The room is much smaller than what we expected from a four-star hotel. The lift is quite old and not easy to use. The air-conditioner is very noisy, expecially during the night when it is quiet outside. The location is very convenient t, very close to the bus and train station.
