"Nice location."
We were able to check in early, which was really nice since we had flown all night. We were not pleased with the breakfast buffet. The staff were very pleasant , but the food was not very good.

"Lovely hotel, central location"
Can't get more central than George square. Had executive room. Really lovely room, spacious. Had brilliant closet had ironing board, iron, trouser press and a safe free to use too. Had issue with safe was solved by staff by the time we got back to the room. Lovely fresh breakfast. Only downside was requested a view. Hoping to b able to view George Square but much further along and facing an office block and a bus stop directly beneath us. But had good sound proofing still heard buses but not people outside. Overall lovely experience.

"One night in Glasgow"
Staff were lovely, room fine, bed and bedding mega comfy. Good central position, great for walking around centre, bad for parking, unsurprisingly.

"Traditional character hotel with class"
Stayed at 1 Devonshire Gardens for the 1 night mid week recently and was very impressed with the overall ambience although the building fabric externally needed attention. Food was first class both for dinner and breakfast although our sausages were inedible which slightly spoilt our breakfast. Room on the top floor was spacious but with being at the corner of Great Western Road and Hyndland Road was noisy early morning. Attention to the sash windows with improved seals would easily rectify this and should be carried out with an external refurbishment. My wife and I normally stay at Blytheswood Square Hotel in the city centre but may be changing to Devonshire in the future

"Comfortable apartment perfectly located"
The Fraser Suites is perfectly located to enjoy all that Glasgow has to offer, fantastic restaurants and bars right on the doorstep. 5 minute walk to the city centre and river. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful and certainly made us feel very welcome.

I actually quite liked this hotel. The room was the smallest I've ever been in in a hotel, but then again, I am from America where things like modesty and practicality are not valued.

"Radisson Blu Glasgow, UK Jul 2015"
I booked a standard twin room and specified for a quiet spot in the hotel. The reception staff noted this when we checked in. The 1st room we were allocated to was on the 4th floor but faces the road junction by the Glasgow Central train station. I immediately noted the traffic noises. There was one queen-sized bed. The wooden stand for resting luggages on was broken. Shaver sockets in the bathroom has no power. I expected a walk in shower as per Radisson Blu's website description but it was a shower over the bath. We contacted reception for a room change. Within 10 mins we were shown into another room along the same corridor. The bed, luggage stand and power socket issues were resolved but it was still with a over the bath shower. A set of ventilation fans about 8 m beyond our window emitted a constant, low-level noise. We took the room but later discovered the blackout curtain had fallen off its rail on one side. It was fixed after I complained at the reception on two consecutive mornings. There was no shaving mirror. Low water pressure from the shower. Snack bar charges includes >2.00 GBP for 1 Tunnock chocolate wafer. Used the LA Fitness branded gym - well equipped but slightly dated. The hotel is very central - great for catching the train/subway/buses or exploring the city centre. Guests arrived on our 3rd night seemed to be in a football team. The members were seen in reception in their shorts and flip flops. For the price/Radisson Blu I expected better quality.

Was a great place to stay to be close to everything. Easy access to transit. Didn't care for the hotel restaurant but other than that it was great
