Edinburgh International Airport, Newbridge - Map
"Convenient, but overpriced"
We booked into this hotel for the last night of our vacation in Scotland. We returned our rental car at the airport, walked to the hotel, checked in, freshened up, took the Tram into Edinburgh for dinner (there is also a bus), returned on the Tram, and then took the free shuttle to the airport for our early morning flight (you could also easily walk to the airport from the hotel, but it was raining when we left). All in all, very convenient. A couple of minor qualms: 1) Neither the television nor the phones worked in our room. The hotel sent a staff person right away who was able to get the television working. We didn't really need the phones, so that went on the list for the maintenance crew. 2) Asked at two different times, front desk staff gave conflicting information about the cost of taking the Tram vs. the bus into Edinburgh. One staff member indicated that the Tram was significantly cheaper than the bus, which was not actually the case. One major qualm: The price. For us it was worth it to pay for proximity to the airport car return, the airport itself, and the Tram into Edinburgh. But one can certainly find better hotels at a better price in the area.

"Staying near Edinburgh airport"
The location was great, both for connecting to flight and returning rental car. The staff was very helpful. Dining room was excellent, both in terms of staff and food. Good internet access and able to print out our boarding passes.

"Very nice hotel would recommend to anyone."
Everyone was very nice and willing to help you with anything you required. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. The food in the relaxed part of the restaurant was excellent.

"Great Change"
This hotel was such a great change from the Apex International where we stayed for three days. It was very American friendly with amenities that met our needs completely. The only negative was its location being so far from the areas that most tourists want to visit. (Castle, Grassrket, museums, etc.) Would however stay here again without a doubt. Great!!

"catching an early flight"
I thought the hotel was a little on the gloomy side with the dimmed lighting. I was surprised when I entered the room to find that it was for a handicapped person. I didn't care for the set up of the bathroom but it was only for 1 night. I also noticed that there are no outlets for a hair dryer in the bathroom. Women generally use a mirror to see what they are doing when styling their hair. I had to crawl under the desk to reach the outlet so I could use the desk mirror.

"Nice staff, pleasant stay"
Overall this was a lovely hotel! The staff were really lovely and the breakfast we had in the morning was fantastic. Aside slightly out-dated decor which isn't to everyones taste it was still nice and clean. We only had one dirty spot in our room and in that room the shower was always working and hot. I'd recommend it's a great place to stay and has a welcoming lounge / bar.

"Family friendly "
From the moment we checked in, all the staff were so helpfull, couldn't do enough to help us with our 9month old. She threw a tantrum in the restaurant but staff simply laughed and asked if we needed anything, which Totaly put us at ease. The pool and sauna are excellent, good food, and location is terrific. Will definatly be going back.
