"Great staff at convenient location"
I really want to give this hotel an outstanding rating overall because every staff member was a pleasure. The room could also be outstanding with some minor maintenance and a more comfortable mattress, but I would certainly stay here again.

"clean, comfortable and close to the airport!"
A quick and easy check-in ... staff accommodating, letting us check in early. I did think that the dining area was too much like a cafeteria atmosphere.

"Luxury close to airport"
Unfortunately, my travel plans changed after booking and I had very little time to enjoy this beautiful luxury hotel. Everything was exceptional except getting to/from my room. Was like trying to figure out a maze to find the elevators. A map would have helped.

"Hotel for convenience to the airport"
We stayed at the Edinburgh Marriott so that we would have an easy commute to the airport. This hotel does NOT have a shuttle bus to the airport, but a taxi can take you there for about 10 pounds.

"Nice hotel in good location, but"
Hotel was in excellent location close to tram stop and the free parking was a bonus. However, the customer service left a lot to be desired. We had booked a family room but the additional bed had not been made up, although this was rectified quickly. The poorest service was in the bar where we ended up cancelling pur order for a cocktail as it took so long. No apology was issued by the member of staff and we were made to feel like an inconvenience.

"Pleasant Accommodations"
Corstorphine Lodge was an easy bus ride of Edinburgh Airport and within reach of several sights of interest. Breakfast was excellent, and staff were very good.

"Family friendly "
From the moment we checked in, all the staff were so helpfull, couldn't do enough to help us with our 9month old. She threw a tantrum in the restaurant but staff simply laughed and asked if we needed anything, which Totaly put us at ease. The pool and sauna are excellent, good food, and location is terrific. Will definatly be going back.

"Lovely hotel, shame about the customer service"
We spend five nights in this hotel when we were in Edinburgh for a wedding. Check in was great and reception staff couldn't help enough. The room was really nice and clean, we had fans brought to the room when it was hot and the iron and ironing board and extra coat hangers for all the wedding clothes. The swimming pool and gym where great and we loved the little extras like towels given out at the pool so we didn't have to take the towels from the room and toiletries where really nice. We went for a meal in the hotel and then is when the disappointment began. The menu was very limited and we waited 2 hours for a 2 course meal. The service by the restaurant and bar staff was very poor. They had no customer service, there were no smiles and no conversation. The food was pretty good when it eventually arrived but then small things let it down like the warm chocolate pudding arriving ice cold and kids meals taking absolutely ages when they were starving and had asked for them to come with the starters. This hotel is great but it would be amazing if the hotel staff had some customer service and actually looked like they enjoyed their job. We feel that they were very understaffed and the staff where busy because of this and so did not enjoy their jobs. The hotel was a short bus ride or taxi ride to the city centre and had great views.
