The decor is a bit on the ornate old-fashioned side versus sleek and modern but it was nicely done. We were pleasantly surprised, heartily recommend Woolley's, and would stay here again when in the area. We prepaid and did get dinged a $10 per night "resort fee" at check-in, but I think it's related to airport proximity and...

"This hotel is in the middle of Golden. The staff were very friendly and helpful! If you’re a traveler with dogs, it is a walkable town. I would give this hotel 5 stars but the bed wasn’t comfortable. I didn’t care for the parking situation. You have to have valet parking and you have to pay extra for that. We ordered food from the restaurant down stairs, and it wasn’t good. It was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Hotel had a lot of history and a great atmosphere. We loved the town! "
