"This hotel is in the middle of Golden. The staff were very friendly and helpful! If you’re a traveler with dogs, it is a walkable town. I would give this hotel 5 stars but the bed wasn’t comfortable. I didn’t care for the parking situation. You have to have valet parking and you have to pay extra for that. We ordered food from the restaurant down stairs, and it wasn’t good. It was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Hotel had a lot of history and a great atmosphere. We loved the town! "

"This motel is GROSS! The mirrors were filthy ,poop on toilet, no washcloths or hand towels 1 bath towel. Beds out dated. Rotting walls. Reviews all the same management apologies but didn’t fix the problem. Towel rack wasn’t even attached to wall. "
