And, of course, the Inn is at the heart of some of the most beautiful country on Earth: Humboldt County's ancient Redwood forests and spectacular coastline simply beckon to be explored.

“Takes you back into time.”
Its a pretty cool hotel, especially for the price. It totally takes you back to the 1920's. The hotel even has displays of the fashion in that era. It was an awesome experience. The room was kinda tiny but for some reason it was pretty roomy. Big walk in closet. Staff were really nice.
“will go back”
hotel still unergoing renovation-no noise problems limited restaurant facilities very good service almost instant hot water limited closet space
“Would love to stay again”
This is a unique and historic hotel worth a visit. The main area reception is beautiful to the eye and brings back nostalgia with 1920's and 30's things in display. The rooms are comfortable with ample space. There is updating going around with new ownership. This did not affect our stay in any way. Would deifinately recommend this hotel and stay again.
“Eureka Inn”
Good hotel, currently undergoing remodeling
“Victoria Classic”
It was a nostalgic inn.. like the old decor and original well kept condition. Very large rooms! Nice pool (to look at), however I bet hasn't been swam in by anyone in years due to the freezing weather in Eureka!
“I'll Be Back”
Historic hotel recently brought out of the mothballs reopening last year. They are still remodeling with half the rooms available. The rates were better than other motels in a much more central location to old town. Our room was huge. Had a refrigerator but no coffee pot or microwave, however, they served a continental breakfast and the microwave was available downstairs. Nice lounge with entertainment on Sunday as well as Friday and Saturday. I love coming to Eureka and the Eureka Inn will be my first choice.
“Slightly spooky charm”
The Eureka is probably the most interesting hotel we have stayed at in the States as it is an 100 year old inn with an impressive wood panelled lobby and interesting displays of old photographs of its past. It is completely different from the usual chain hotels with really distinctive Victorian architecture. Our room was enormous and appeared to have been made by converting two small rooms into one big room. There was a problem with the cistern which hotel staff tried to fix and offered us another room. The hotel is being renovated and the swimming pool was out of action but we were not otherwise affected by this. I would recommend this hotel if you like somewhere with idiosyncratic character including a slightly spooky feel on stairs and corridors and are willingly to overlook any minor imperfections. Eureka itself has some lovely old Victorian buildings including the Carson Mansion and like the Eureka Inn a slight air of being forgotten by time.
“Eueka Inn”
Room was large, lobby was pleasant and comfortable with a fire in the fireplace. The carpet was very worn in the room, but the inn was reasonably well-maintained for an old historic building.
“Historic Hotel”
Love to stay in privately owned places. The hotel is working on renovating & I hope they succeed. Room was lovely. Hotel a Classic. Nice to have Bfast buffet in this type of setting, minimal but sufficient for me. I will consider again when in the area.
“Old and musty but lots of charm”
Very old and very large hotel with the fragrance of years gone by. The endless halls creeked and reminded me of the movie The Shinning. The old wooden door to the room needed a real key to open. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was just large enough for a tollet, tub and pedistal sink and no counters. Overall this was an interesting experience that would appeal to anyone wishing to relieve the old days.
