“Disappointed”
The hotel over all was okay, friendly staff and I had no problems at all when I had to get the TV and lighting in my room fixed. However I did not get the room I was expecting from their ad. I got a small, dingy room, not well kept. Dirt and dust under the microwave, holes in the wall and the WIFi was not working. I would go back if I had a queen size bed, brighter, cleaner room.
“Not Impressed”
Wont be back to this hotel; Room was hot, and could not be adjusted. Shower curtain rod ripped out of wall and hanging by one screw. Dump! Needed to be gone by 7am, so did not get the free breakfast included, which we were not aware of! Not Impressed!
“Good for the price.”
The free breakfast could be better, instead of boiled eggs, why not scrambled eggs! Overall I had a nice overnight stay...
“Good value for price”
It was decent for the price. It was clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast had a good selection. It was perfect for a business trip but I would not go there for holiday. You could hear everything from the rooms next to you and the hallways. Staff was really nice.
“Edmonton”
I wished the restaurant and lounge would open later then 10pm. But other then that I had a great stay
“Great hotel”
Great hotel at a low cost. Stayed there several times. Stayed there for Cirque Du Soliel in July. Transit nearby to take you to Rexall Place. Staff friendly and nice continental breakfast.
“Great location, clean rooms and quiet. Perfect for business!”
I stayed at this hotel for one weeknight last week. The location was more than ideal, since I had a early morning meeting in Downtown Edmonton. This hotel is steps from Jasper avenue (Downtown Edmonton's Main Strip) which has various restaurants/bars and office towers/shopping. I found the rooms to be spotless, quiet and comfortable. I got a great sleep, I think they may have just put in new mattress. In room coffee was better than most. After checking in I went for a beer down the street at a pub called The Hat, great place for a few drinks. I walked to my meeting in the morning because the hotel was so close to the main office towers in downtown. Considering how much I paid and the location, cleanliness, comfort etc, I think I got a great deal. I would definitely stay here again.
“If That's All You Require...”
OK - if you need a cheap place to flop your head in downtown Edmonton, for BUSINESS not PLEASURE, this hotel will do. That is all. My complaints? Kind of a ghetto place... slightly unkempt common areas, but my biggest issue was that my window did not look to the outside. Yes, you read that correct - the windows in many rooms merely look to a courtyard pool area, not actually to the outside. It feels very claustrophobic and is dark. Also, skip the Bird's Nest of Bejing restaurant. Combo for one is $16.95 and is not good at all... but having lived in Edmonton in the past, I can tell you it is a wasteland when it comes to Chinese food, There is not one goof Chinese restaurant in the city. Good Indian food though. Transcend on 104th @ Jasper Ave, two blocks from hotel, has the best coffee in the known universe.
“I'll stay here when I visit Edmonton”
Good, I liked the place, language i could speak far from my land.
“Very reasonable priced and conveniant to our appointment”
Was quite happy have stayed before and will again
