“It's my new place in edmonton”

i love the location, great shops, restaurants and clubs everywhere. nice king size bed in the earth room, comfy too. valet parking is so rockstar. for the extra little money, it's worth it.

“Great location”

Overall I thought the hotel was very nice. The only problem was the the valet parking. Although it was free the service was horrible, they ask for 45 mins notice before they can deliver your car and then still take another 30mins after the time you asked for them to have it out front or sometimes park it in the back and dont tell you its there and ready.

“Great Hotel , I wish I had discovered it earlier!”

The staff is exceptional! The whole hotel is classy and unique. I loved my room and all the conveniences provided that I would normally not get at a conventional hotel. I wish I had discovered this Hotel sooner. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone that likes elegance and classy service and surroundings.

“Excellent boutique hotel in a great funky neighborhood”

We were very pleased with this hotel. The front desk was a little unenthusastic but the rooms were realy interesting and spacious. The district around the hotel was interesting and filled with good restaurants, bard and stores. Highly recommend this hotel.

“Great Room - Great Service - Hard to find something to complain about...”

Recently stayed at the Metterra for the second time and was very pleased with my choice. The room was large and very comfortable, the staff was helpful and very pleasant, and the location was perfect for my needs. The breakfast (included), while not fine dining, was more the adequate. Although the hotel was likely not very busy (I was there on a Sunday and Monday night), I didn't hear noise from any other rooms or anything from the street (it is on Whyte Avenue, one of the busier streets in Edmonton). I am looking forward to my next stay.

I like Whyte Avenue - lots of funky shops and a bit grittier than other areas while still very safe.

“Great Whyte Ave. Location”

We were impressed with the room & size and the continental breakfast was excellent, lots to choose from! Although parking was free, it was across the street. There was the option of complimentary valet, which was nice. We would definitely return!

Area recommendations

Whyte Ave. is a busy street with lots of shops, restaurants and bars along the avenue. A couple blocks away are nice walking paths with stairs that lead down to the river paths. Downtown Edmonton is across the river, about a ten minute drive and West Edmonton Mall is about a 15-20 minute drive away.

Ask for a high floor and view of Edmonton city or view of old strathcona.

“Very nice”

Very nice Hotel and nice location. Parking sometimes is an issue, but if you have patience everything will be OK.
