“Review”
Very cheap, convenient and easy to use. Only downside the strong whiff of chlorine from the swimming pool in the reception area when I arrived. Made the please feel needlessly institutional. But a minor quibble.
“nice hotel”
Only 10 minutes from City Centre by nearby train,a nice hotel with friendly professional staff Rooms spotless clean with large comfortable bed. Would return and do recommend
“A visit to see the Panda's”
Very comfortable rooms with plenty of space for a family of 4. Great swimming pool with towels provided. Overall the hotel was child friendly, offered computer access within the reception area which the kids were able to use. Breakfast was to a high standard, everything you could think of cereal, fruit, hot food, pasteries etc. incl hot chocolates for the kids.
“Excellent Stay”
As soon as you walk into the hotel you can see that staff are well presented and the hotel itself is modern. The restaurant and bar has a relaxing atmosphere allowing you to enjoy dinner and drinks during your stay. The room we were in was clean and tidy, spacious and had a lovely modern bathroom. We would definitely return to this hotel when we are in Edinburgh.
“novotel edinbrugh park”
Staff friendly willing to help.Asked if we required any maps of Edinbrugh, giving train times.ordered room service sat night hotel fully booked, recieved it surprisinly quickly, very modern and stylish hotel, would stay again and defenetly recomend it to family and friends.Rail link to Edinbrugh excellent, and of course an on site tesco.
“Good Fire Alarm!”
Free car parking and location to Edinburgh Park Station were thw main reasons for choosing this hotel. The hotel itself is clean, modern and very comfortable. Only downside to our short stay was that the fire alarm went off at 06:30am on the last day, and put an end to our plan for an extra couple of hours in bed!!
“Great hotel for business”
Very good, would stay again though a bit disappointed you have to pay extortionate amounts for using the Internet
“Very good hotel in Edinburgh”
Nice room, nice pool, cant false it.
“Perfect for airport/city proximity”
We stayed at the Novotel to be close to the ariport for an early departure. We were more than pleasantly surprised. We arrived early and were immediately given a room, which was great so that we didn't have to have suitcases in the car all day. We drove straight into City Centre and parked and had a good day of sight-seeing, then returned the rental car to the airport so we didn't have that hassle in the morning. Parking is free at the hotel, however. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and again were pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of the offerings, plus the service was excellent even though they had a big tour group buffet at the same time, and food was veryy good as well.. We would definitely consider staying at the Novotel Edinburgh Park again rather than at a guest house where there are usually no lifts and the rooms are invariably small and you often have to share a toilet.
“Smashing comfort”
On first long not much to say about the hotel but once you get sorted at reception which doesn't take long at all its becomes clear that this is a newly built hotel. Not much too see or do in or on location unless you like to swim and keep fit at the gym which is on location. Tesco just over the road offers the chance to get a few things if required. With the train station of Edinburgh Park just 3mins walk away excellent for a trip into the city centre which is only 2 stops away and 10 mins ride. The buffet breakfast was top notch so fill your boots at that and I ordered room service which was quick and was a good feed. Enjoy your stay here at good price and close to city centre just a train ride away hard to beat get booking :-)
