“Royal Mile Apartel - Why Pay More?”
The Holyrood Aparthotel is the best value in Edingburgh. Makes you wonder why anyone would pay a premium for a traditional full service hotel on the Royal Mile. At a significantly cheaper nightly rate, one can have a fully furnished apartment with kitchen, laundry, and living room just steps from the Royal Mile. The building is new and well maintained. Service was professional and courteous.
“Outstanding!”
We could not have been more pleased. The hotel is located on a quiet street right in the center of the old city of Edinburgh. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was excellent and included not only a dishwasher, but also a clothes washer and dryer. The accommodations included a generous supply of complementary snacks, orange juice, cheese, milk and cereals.
“A jewel on the royal mile in Edinburgh”
We stayed at the Hollyrood Aparthotel for our 5 days in Scotland. It was a perfect location, right off of the Royal Mile, easy to get to, even a Starbucks within a block. The staff was friendly and helpful. Maids were very efficient, and the hotel was in good shape and very clean. Free internet provided on a PC with printer by the desk, which is good by European standards. Definitely recommend this hotel to others.
“Modern Comfort”
The location is just off the Royal Mile but at the wrong end near the Parliament. There's a bit of a walk to tourist Edinburgh. Other than that I can't think of a single problem. Comfort, size, service all way above average for the cost and more than offsets any short taxi fare/walk to the tourist section. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the city.
“Excellent apartment”
Perfect location for Royal Mile and Holyrood Park, doesn't look much from the outside but the apartment is top quality. Complimentary breakfast basket is an excelletn idea.
“Pristine, roomy hotel in great location”
It is not easy to find good accomodation for a party of 5 but this place really fit the bill. It is truly an apartment with 2 double rooms and a pullout in the sitting room. There were two full baths and a nice kitchen well stocked for breakfast. Everything was modern and sparkling clean. Location is only a block from the Mile but away from street noise. We would definitely return.
“Outstanding”
This was simply the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Previous reviews had talked about the plumbing, but we had no such issue. The place was awesome, it was nice to have so much room and the service was outstanding. This is now our place to stay in Edinburgh!! Very close to the Royal Mile.
“Très bonne adresse à conseiller”
Si l'hotel ne paye pas de mine vu de l'extérieur,il est par contre très bien agencé à l'intérieur. Nous avions un appartement de deux chambres + salon + cuisine + 2 salles de bain. Le tout est très confortable. Tous les ingrédients nécessaires au petit déjeuner sont fournis dans la cuisine pour le temps du séjour, ce qui donne l'indépendance en plus du confort. Le personnel à l'accueil est souriant et disponible. L'hôtel est par ailleurs très bien placé dans la vieille ville. Tous les centres d'intêret sont accessibles à pied. Adresse fortement recommandée. Excellent rapport qualité prix.
“Impressed an teenager!!”
My son & I stayed at Holyrood Aparthotel for 2 nights during the October half term as we were very impressed with everything. So much so my 14 son would love to live in one on an permanent basis it was that comfortable. The location is also superb for visiting all my sites of Edinburgh. I will be back!
“Great Deal - especially for the money!”
This hotel is conveniently located. The rooms are clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. I would definitely return.
