"The hotel has everything for kids and restaurants are nearby in abundance. The sea at the time we were there (April) wasn’t super Thailand like clean. Found it strange that the hotel bar was empty and not showing any sports on the tv. It needs an update and you could see signs of it having been empty during Covid. Staff were friendly, apart from when we asked for sports coverage in the then empty bar for the kids to watch. "

"Everything about Royal Cliff is absolutely stunning. The views are unbeatable, the pool is beautiful and the service is amazing. My ONE complaint that would prevent me from staying again was the fact that I was moved twice due to a mildew smell in the room and every single room (even the one i stayed in for a week) had this awful STRONG odor of mildew. "NOT RECOMMENDED. One of the worst resorts I’ve stayed at. You can get so much more for your money at other resorts nearby. The location was in the middle of no where and if you want to go into town, you have to take a grab or bolt. There is a hotel shuttle but it’s only at 2pm and 6pm. "This is my second time at this hotel. I like this hotel for its pools and beach. The property needs to be modernized. Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty. The location is not near a shopping center and transportation from the hotel is a bit high. I found it difficult to get luggage out of my room, no elevator and to many stairs, not enough ramps. My GF cut her leg on a bulging tile while getting out of the pool. They removed the beach huts since my last visit. "

"The room and location were absolutely fine but it took almost 30 minutes for someone to arrive and check me in. When they arrive they take 500 baht from me to clean room but no one come to clean room in 2 weeks that I stay there. I have already paid for the room, it is not my responsibility to pay for the room to be cleaned when I check out. Also when I arrive, room not have WiFi, they come to fix the next day but this should have been all sorted when I arrived. Overall it’s a good place to stay...
