"Overall a good place to stay. Nice and close to the historic district, with bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Hotel was elderly with a few rough edges, but fine. Staff were friendly, and the laundry service was good. Internet service, though, was not great - spotty coverage, low speeds, and there was a complete outage for a couple of hours one day. Also, for the technically minded, you cannot establish an outgoing VPN connection - for some reason it is blocked."

It is in an older neighborhood and felt insecurity at night but I like it being more community oriented. Building is very secure. Hotel all ran by guys but with good manner and services.
