"We enjoyed our 2 night stay tha breakfast was exceptional The bed was very comfortable and the room was furnished adequately We had a couple of issues we the tv remote not working and the door cards didnt function after we went out one day All these issues were resolved All the staff we approached friendly and professional Tha Gym and spa steam room pool and sauna we all good we loved it "

"The staff were delightful - young, enthusiastic and helpful at all times. The room was spacious but showing some signs of the age and maintenance burden of such a large old , but nothing too obvious. The lift was a wonder - long waits at busy times, 2 people plus luggage and sounding like a dumb waiter. It was not clear why the HP sauce bottles at breakfast were only available on request - is there a shortage?"

"Well what can I say. Second visit to this fabulous hotel and again I can’t fault it. From the moment you walk in the grand front door, checking in and going to your room it is a delight. Lovely restored old property sympathetically completed without spoiling the grandness. Large bedrooms continue with the grandness. Breakfast, choices extend to salmon dishes with poached eggs etc, alongside the usual buffet style hot options and cereals etc. Looking forward to returning to this magnificent hotel...

"Stay was good. Room was ok, fan was VERY noisy in bathroom so had to switch off. No batteries in tv remote either. One bonus was there are Tesla superchargers at this site which for me was an added bonus."

"A really great stay in Harrogate - fantastic location within walking distance of the town centre shops, restaurants and bars and of course Betty's! We enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar, staff on reception and in the bar were friendly and welcoming and our room was really comfortable. Only downside was the basement room we had was under one of the function rooms and there was a wedding taking place which meant it was quite noisy until the early hours but not a major problem.
