"It is OK for the price. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool area is in a terrible state but my 7yo did not have an issue with it. "

"Outdated but extremely convenient and standard condition for a hotel. Nothing special. Pool “water park” is too shallow. Got scraped up from the shallow landing on the water slide. Deepest is 3’6”"

"Not the cleanest hotel and was disappointed the night front desk worker couldn’t help with late check out, but overall it was a decent place to stay, very close to lots of restaurants and shopping."

"So the room I was in had a broken heater that made an obnoxious noise when it was on leaving me to turn it off. No extra blankets in the room. The room also had what looked like a roach trap in the corner by the desk…there was also a bad odor in the hallway. Experience itself wasn’t bad the front end desk attendants were nice and had a sense of humor and helpful with my travel questions. "

"Black Bear Inn is very inviting and comfortable. Our room was small but adequate; we spent most of our time outside. The breakfasts were top notch and huge. We enjoyed the common house areas playing games and talking with the other guests. The hot tub and decks added to our outdoor enjoyment. We will definitely return. "
