"This house and property are well appointed and very nice in all respects! The family room with the large, glazed overhead door is a great space (we had the door open during the day, and then closed it in the evening for dinner.) The deck overlooking Candlewood Lake has several nice seating areas, hot tub and fire pit. Down at the lake, there is another nice seating area (along with the dock and boat shed.) "We planned a long weekend at this beautiful lake house on Candlewood Lake to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday. What a great place to get together with family and to celebrate. The house was beyond our expectations. It was airy and clean and the views were spectacular. The house had every amenity you could think of and then some. I imagine that this home is even lovelier during the summer. The house was easy to get to, and there were lots of markets and stores (Stew Leonard, Costco, etc.)...

Everything you need is in the house - all creature comforts, clean and effortless. Just sit back and relax. Love the waterfront with all chaises, high top table, dock and easy launch. New fire pit lounge area is also a great place to hang out!"

"The shower was the best one I’ve had in ages! The linens were crisp, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable. The AC was noisy and the refrigerator had no freezer section. Staff provided paper products when asked. Everyone smiled and were very courteous and welcoming. Some wear and tear on fittings in the room. I would definitely stay here again. "
