“My Choice in Stamford”
The Amsterdam claims to be the most affordable hotel in the county. For those who are not on an expense account I agree. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and include coffee maker, fridge and microwave as well as large flat screen TV. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown Stamford and a large indoor mall. Breakfast is included and, as with others, is heavy to sweets and starches but includes a selection of more healthy fruit.. The building looks more lke an office building than a hotel but I have stayed here before on prior visits and will stay here again in the future.
“Good budget hotel”
Small hotel in downtown Stamford, CT. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Room decor not fancy but in very good condition. Very comfortable bed. Quite new facilities in bathroom. Free wireless internet. Will be staying there often in future.
“Excellent Value”
Friendly, Clean, European-like hotel. Older, but well maintained. Price cannot be beat. Elevator a bit slow, but otherwise, no complaints.
“Will stay again when in Stamford, CT”
This hotel was actually a 2nd choice. When I arrived at the first hotel in Stamford, CT that I had booked via the hotel itself, I was so disappointed. So I cancelled that reservation and found this place on Expedia. The room was a corner room with plenty of room and two walls with all windows. It's located in a residential neighborhood and all and all it was a great place to spend the night.

“My stay at the Amsterdam Hotel”
It was my first time staying at the amsterdam hotel and I have to say I was a bit skeptical because I have never heard of this particular hotel. But it was great. I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were clean, everything was the way it should have been. no complaint!!!! very comfortable

“Stamford's Best Hotel Bargain”
This recently renovated hotel is convenient to the Stamford downtown mall and downtown's restaurants. It room rates seem to make it Stamford's best hotel bargain and they include continental breakfast. For those not traveling on an expense account I recommend it.
“Great location! Will return again!”
My friend and I went to the Maury Show and I booked the hotel through expedia (my first time doing it!) and I was nervous because I never booked a room online before. I picked the Amsterdam Hotel because it was the shortest distance away from the studio. To our surpise, it was close to everything! Right next door was a Taco Bell (we were not from that state so having food right next door after a long drive was awesome!) and down the road near the studio was the mall!!! Could not have asked for a better location! We are planning on traveling to see another show and we WILL be staying at that hotel again! Also, the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean!
