"What an adorable cottage! Sure, the floors were not level….but the beds were great. The bathrooms had been updated. There was a terrific sunroom….and the property was gorgeous. We had two dog with us and they loved the space to run and catch a frisbee. The house was equipped with so many amenities. I would definitely visit again. We spent one day hiking at Grayson Highlands State Park in VA and another day we did an urban walk through West Jefferson, NC"

"We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. "The host was helpful and kind. The check-in process was simple. The location was great. Set on the front porch and watch the river flow. Home was Close to my favorite fishing spots. The house was well stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfortable. The house was very clean and neat. My wife and I loved how the house was decorated with pictures and items from the area. We will definitely be returning for another stay in the future. Would highly recommended it."

"We recently stayed at the parsonage, three generations, and enjoyed it immensely. Everything was exactly as stated in the description. It was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. The host gave clear directions throughout the whole booking process. We enjoyed a fire by the amazing "babbling brook", and my grandchildren had so much fun playing air hockey in the basement.
