As others have said in their reviews, it’s convenient to the town - a 12 minute walk but far too hot to walk, so you can very easily get a tricycle and the security staff help with this. Also have a nice bar, restauraunt and pool. Ended up staying here an extra 2 nights - would recommend to stay here."

"Fantastic peaceful hotel away from all the hustle and bustle of coron town. Service was excellent and friendly. Would highly recommend. As soon as we arrived we had a drink in hand which was very welcome. Decor was lovely. Food wasnt the best we've had but tasty and sufficient. Good selection of cocktails at amazing prices. "We stayed three nights are El Rio Y Mar Resort and wish we could have stayed a week. This resort is hands down the best resort we have stayed at in the Philippines. It's very secluded from the hustle and bustle of Coron yet close enough that you can still do the island hopping tours and excursions. The staff were exceptional from the time you arrive to the time you depart. The food at the ONLY restaurant was absolutely delicious. We were a bit nervous about there only being one restaurant...
