"I have to start off by saying that staying at Paolyn Houseboat was a leap of faith for myself, my wife, and our 3 children. To be isolated in a lagoon next to an island with no degree of infrastructure, caused us some level of uncertainty. BUT OMG, HOW WRONG WE WERE!  Staying here offers absolute peace, serenity, and tranquility that could only be described as lifechanging. Kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkeling gear were included, which means that anytime from dusk til dawn was a perfect time to...

"The staff was wonderful. Trasnportation to and from the airport was excelent and on time. When we arrived there were some issues woth our room which was addressed quickly. The resort overall is a beautiful paradise. The food was amazing. We also did the island tour which was amazing. Our tour guides were awesome and so helpful. I honestly could not ask for more."

"This place is great however overpriced and not a lot of options for excursions. The food options were limited and they seemed to be out of everything, so it was slim pickings when it came to meals in a remote location. The mountain rooms suck, you can see right in them and so you have to keep the curtains drawn, which really doesn't matter as the view is horrible. "

"Chindonan is located in a remote place and I had no problem getting there after being picked up at the port from the ferry - 45 minute speedboat ride. I came here for the diving and it did not disappoint. The food at the restaurant was tasty and offered a variety, including for vegetarians. All units require many steps to get there so it’s not for those who don’t want or cannot walk distances and stairs. "

"We stayed three nights are El Rio Y Mar Resort and wish we could have stayed a week. This resort is hands down the best resort we have stayed at in the Philippines. It's very secluded from the hustle and bustle of Coron yet close enough that you can still do the island hopping tours and excursions. The staff were exceptional from the time you arrive to the time you depart. The food at the ONLY restaurant was absolutely delicious. We were a bit nervous about there only being one restaurant...
