"The Carriage House was a dream come true. Beautifully appointed, extremely clean, well stocked with everything we needed and perfectly located for day trips around Ontario and into NY. The cottage had everything we needed and was only a few blocks from the heart of downtown, the lake and fort. We are already talking of returning here for a quick getaway to tour some wineries!"

"My husband and I wanted a little spot to rest while visiting all of the beautiful places around the area. This little place was the perfect size for our needs. It was pretty cold, so we weren't able to enjoy the lovely firepit or the grill outside, but we enjoyed the cozy indoor fireplace and sitting in front of it in the evenings while we unwound from a day of adventure. "Very happy with the stay. We were there for a hockey tournament in Niagara. The property gave us lots of space for socializing together. The hot tub and pool were great. Ally even opened the pool early for us. Only thing that would have been better, there is a camera set up in the back yard, so was hard to feel totally comfortable as a private stay. "We made a trip North from Pa for a much needed weekend away. This was our third trip to the NOTL area. This property was so easily centric to everything we wanted to do. We walked everywhere downtown and to the grand Lake O! short drive to wineries, a golf outlet etc. The house was comfortable, charming and everything we needed for a weekend away from it all! We’ll definately be back!!"

"This is the cutest wee animal sanctuary. Place was clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was immediate and excellent. It is a bit rustic, but for me, i was very happy. Highly recommend and if we come back to the area definitely staying here. Close to everything. Niagra falls, niagra on the lake, Weiland locks, tulip farm all within 20- 30 min."

"The location was good. Walking distance to the arcade, food trucks, convenience store, tennis courts, water park etc.. Beaches were nearby, and clean. However, the cottage was quite dirty. Past guests left food in the oven, chips in between bowls inside the cupboard, floors were sticky, tub drain had hair and slime, small pet hairs were on the mattresses and sofa, BBQ was dirty. "Location is great! Room was clean and communication with the host was very good. Unfortunately the A/C stopped working early in our stay so it got pretty hot in the room which made it pretty uncomfortable and definitely put a damper on our stay. With the exception of that though, it’s a great property and location. "
