"Check in was fast and informative. Breakfast is a lot of sweet items. Wish there was bacon on site. Never seen bacon there in a long time. Cookies or treats they usually have on desk is always empty.. didn’t realize they had popcorn last night in hotel lobby and not sure if they only did one batch for the whole hotel. "Needs refurbishing badly. Guest lodges/cabins are old. Sheets and bedding are fine. Rooms are paper thin. Breakfast is very good and service is excellent. Rooms have shared lounges with fireplaces and they bring wood every day. Very nice. The entire place is beautiful but is old and in need of upgrade but not sure the return on investment is good for a short season"

"The dinner meals were amazing. I had halibut one night and salmon the next. It was served with fresh vegetables from the garden. I had soup and mussels as appetizers and both were fabulous. The breakfast was very underwhelming, cold frittata and French toast with Aunt Jemima syrup ,no fresh fruit as promised. Our server Pierre was polite, efficient and kind.
