We booked an early Sept getaway in order to miss the school holiday crowds. The hotel was at only 20% occupancy which worked well for us as we received very personalized care and attention. We were upgraded on arrival and the views from the terrace of our suite were really lovely. The hotel site is big and a little hilly (especially with a little one in tow) so the golf carts operated by the hotel team are a welcome bonus in getting around. The fine dining restaurant was outstanding while the more causal options including near the pool were also good. You need a car to get around and see the surrounding areas and my partner is French which also helped in communications both in the hotel and outside (although everyone spoke good English). It was a shame that I didn't bring my golf gear as the course looks in beautiful condition and I didn't see anyone on it. However the Spa was excellent both in terms of the quality of the treatments but also the look, feel, maintenance and cleanliness and the hotel pool was large and with spin off areas for kids and jacuzzi. We discussed whether we would feel the same if there were super busy and that is difficult to guess at but we both agreed that it was a fabulous place to stay and the whole experience was very child-friendly (especially the staff). Our only "issue" was that we didn't realize until we left that we could have requested a different mattress for the bed. A minor issue on what was altogether a really lovely and relaxing stay.

Don't normally bother with reviews, in fact this is a first.
Location was very good a genuine 5 minute walk to the main marina area. value for money especially bearing in mind its France was excellent. Our city view room actually had a decent partial sea view from the balcony which was an unexpected bonus.
But the main reason for writing the review was because the staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful throughout and for me that makes all the difference.
