It is a great place to stay - convenient to the start point for the ride, plus excellent places to eat in Chinatown and Little Italy. The best part of the stay was the people - Amanda and Abigail at the front desk were superb. Excellent people with friendly, professional demeanors. Very helpful and very good at what they do!"

2.0 star property

"Hard to speak of it because oddly enough I did not end up staying there. You see, the hotel was fully booked when we arrived despite us making reservations. But thankfully, the guy (Frankie) at the front desk was kid and helpful and solution-oriented enough to put as at a second hotel owned by same owner 2 blocks away that was far better for the original cost! So...we were quite lucky! It was so nice there at the Allen Hotel and staff were very helpful and kind. So I have to give a positive...

New World Hotel
2.0 star property
3.6 out of 10, (994)
"Listen folks, if you are low on funds and need to stay in Manhattan for a night, this will suffice. I don't recommend couples coming here for a sexy night because the walls are thin and the ceilings are like mesh. You can hear everything. I'd say it's clean, but you can't clean built in grime. Great location. Nice staff."
