"Unique and beautifully appointed 13th century chateau. Service was spotty because of end of season w limited staff. Otherwise, just beautiful! General Manager was an excellent host. "
"On arrival the staff were welcoming and attentive... The dinner was very good and again the staff were great... The rooms are motel style on two floors at the back of the restaurant... Each with is own small outside seating area... The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a good sized bathroom which had a bath and shower"
"Comfortable, clean, family run hotel in peaceful rural setting overlooking grape vines. A tranquil retreat for a few days visit to Beaujolais. Management pleasant & helpful, good English spoken and plenty of local knowledge offered. Good restaurants in the nearby village, beds comfortable. Only one complaint, the free wifi connection is poor, you can pay for a faster connection if required."
"Great meal in the restaurant.
Hotel no so good! No hot water at all, and room heating not working when I came. I had to find out myself how to get the radiator to work."
"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Facilities were comprehensive too with a well stocked gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing area. A great place to stay."
"Surprisingly, no lift but reception was prompt to switch our arthritic selves to ground floor. Bar had excellent, reasonably-priced local wines (Beaujolais Villages) & on-site restaurant had Canette des Dombes."
"small hotel with basic amenities which suited us for a one night stay but could have stayed longer. Very pleasant and helpful landlady.
Good atmosphere has a bar and a dinning room where they served a very good menu. Far better than in much higher ranking hotels. Parking was easy and we will stay again. We had two rooms and both were clean and comfortable."

"Dorine was fantastic, she went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend! Close to transport (buses, trams) and not as noisy as you’d expect. "

"Loved everything about this hotel that was converted from a Convent. Views of the city of Lyon from the Hotel are spectacular and the concierge service and amenities or top notch. This is the place to stay if you plan on visiting Lyon."

"Gave us the top floor, climbing that spiral stairs was a work out! Besides that location was good, close to port, transportation and restaurant. Public parking expensive if you have car. I would stay here again, but only if I get a first floor room."

"A group of guys here for the rugby. Good check in and out. Breakfast nice and varied. A bar would have been nice. A good stay. Would certainly consider again. Good value for money."
