"The cottage was just what I needed - some time away listening to the sounds of the waves in comfort. The cottage wasn't fancy, but had everything you'd need. Only heads up is to bring Keurig pods as there was no regular coffee maker on site (although close to store where you can buy anything you might need). Lastly, I will mention that the cottage is squeezed in among other buildings so it's not the place to go if you want complete privacy."

"We went there for Christmas with our kids and friend. Place is clean, charming. Lot of stuff for kids, toys, games, books, plastic dishes, high chair. Living room is spacious, with view on lake. The fire place works great, quiet area with a small convenience store a little further. You'll have to drive around 40 minutes to do your groceries. One of our best stay !!"

"The Blue Heron cottage was one of the best stocked little cottages I've ever stayed at, incredibly well appointed with dishes, towels, extra blankets ect. I'm always disappointed by the lack of tools to cook in a place but not here! Plus a comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. A perfect little getaway for my partner and I. "Was a wonderful stay and we ended up with more family arriving with kids so we were able to sleep lots!! Had everything you need!! Only feedback would be-the gas was cut while we were there which resulted in lots of grass being tracked inside and we spent a lot of time cleaning grass out of the cottage-which is not how you want to spend your vacation/time."

The owner was very responsive to our every need, even installing a grab bar in the bathroom for his oldest guest so far! The cottage was plenty spacious for the eight of us, and so lovely, allowing spectacular views of the lake on three sides. "This was our second stay at Legacy and both times have been terrific! Everything we needed to enjoy our week. The grandchildren loved playing in the yard and frequent trips to the beach. "The view from the 3rd floor was beautiful, the property was clean and well located in the charming town of Wolfville. It was close to all the activities we were interested in—mainly the various spots to see the tides in the Bay of Fundy. Parking was quite easy and the self checkin was too. The only downside was the Murphy bed was hard as were the pillows and, with no elevator, the walk up 3 flights with our luggage was challenging.
