"We only stayed one night as we were just passing through and we arrived late, but Nigel and Karen (the owners) were very welcoming and their apartments are simply lovely. Very clean and slightly quirky, which we like. Don't be put off by the attic room and the mezzanine bed ... it's a bit of a climb to get up there, but it's cozy and comfortable. Looking forward to going back one day."

The apartment was spacious and well appointed, and the beds were super comfy. Breakfast offerings were varied and excellent, with baskets for you to take your meal to your own suite. "This is a well run apartment hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the main street but close enough to walk to. Breakfast was particularly good and the service was very attentive. The room was cleaned every day by a delightful lady who together with the owners was very welcoming. We were given recommendations for good restaurants in the area and overall our stay was an enjoyable experience. The Tegernsee is beautiful and is highly recommended as a tourist destination."

"At first I was disappointed that I didn't get a small couch as shown in the photos (a comfortable chair/couch is a priority of mine) but the small desk worked fine. I just put a pillow on the hard chair for a little bit of comfort. Otherwise all was great. Loved the slanted windows and fresh air coming in and large bathroom. "Very pleasant. there was nearby parking but with it near the bus stop and a restaurant downstairs, the lot can be full at peak times. But have some patience and a spot will open. It is close to a fantastic ski resort: Kitzski. By close I mean walk over. Also you can walk to town and walk to the toboggan run. So you can park and leave the car. We had to travel to St. Johann because Kitzski is not for beginners. Bar was pleasant. ski rental is also close and discounted. Pizza is near. ...
