"When I made the reservation, I was told that we were able to have 2 adjoining rooms. I even called the day prior to checking in to make sure we were still able to have 2 adjoining rooms. When we arrived, our rooms were on the 4th floor, and the 7th floor. Not even close to each other. No suggestions were even made as to how we could have gotten 2 adjoining rooms after bringing it to their attention. I was a bit disappointed. Also, the outdoor pools were not open, nor were any of the chairs...

"I should start by putting things in context: I'm rating this hotel 4 out of 5 compared to other hotels of its age and type (an older American beach town hotel). I'm not ranking it compared to the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong or the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore or so on. Parking was free, the location is excellent, the hotel was in decent condition and was clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. I didn't see a gym, which is...

"It seems like perfect place for family with kids and dogs. We have 3 people, a dog and infant. We love the place which is so convenient and clean. Everything is new and fully prepared. Definitely recommend and come back here when we have a chance"

"Overall great place to stay. Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, reasonable parking cost, good restaurant. The area that was lacking is the pool. Overhead piping had chipped, pealing paint- afraid chips would fall on us. The “hot tub” wasn’t working so was called “conversation tub”, same temp as the pool, which was lukewarm & smelled off. Definitely needs an upgrade."
