This Montreal street art will give you all the feels to inspire your next trip

Entering what is hopefully the twilight of the pandemic in Montreal, there is reason to believe a sense of normalcy is on the horizon and optimism for the future. Expedia has teamed up with LNDMRK to create its ‘Helping Hand’ mural. Located in the heart of Montreal’s Plateau neighbourhood at 4411 Rue Berri, Montreal (QC) H2J 2R2, the mural captures the importance of human connection and highlights Expedia’s commitment to offering travellers a helping hand every step of their journey, for when it’s possible for Quebecers to travel again.

Art that carries an important message

The insta-worthy mural, created by LNDMRK, illustrates the importance of human physical connection, something severely limited and deeply missing since the start of the pandemic. Designed with Expedia’s signature colours, the artwork gives that much-needed feeling of reassurance and reminds Quebecers that a helping hand can go a long way. “We sought to create a piece that energizes and inspires a community that has been hit hard by the pandemic,” said LNDMRK. “The mural represents a sign of hope, friendship, love, trust, and companionship. That human connection is universal and has no bounds. It’s a way to celebrate our freedom to explore and discover the world again.”

“We are really excited about this partnership with the local artists at LNDMRK,” said Mary Zajac, PR Manager, Expedia Canada. “The mural beautifully captures so much of what we love and have missed about travelling. More than ever, we know that it matters who you travel with. When it is safe to travel again, we want Quebecers to know that we’ll be there to provide support and resources, so they can focus on getting the most out of their long-awaited trip when possible again.”
