Rumor Has it That These are the Best Pool Parties in Las Vegas
With a desert climate and plenty of sunshine, it should come as no surprise that Las Vegas is home to some spectacular pools. Most of the hotels and resorts in Sin City boast at least one outdoor pool perfect for soaking up the sun and kicking back with a cocktail. A few kick it up a notch with impressive pool parties. Ranging from ticketed events featuring world-class DJs to daily parties and drinks specials at the swim-up bar, don’t skip an epic pool party during your trip to Vegas.
Rehab
If you only make it to one pool party during your time in Las Vegas, make it Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Rehab is the largest, best-known, and most popular of the Vegas pool parties, and it has a history of wild times. It is held exclusively at the Paradise Pool in the Hard Rock, which means that there are age restrictions in place. Those over 21 can party alongside 7,000 of their closest friends as they enjoy refreshing cocktails, shots, live music, and a tropical environment. Parties start at midday and head into the night, so think about splurging on a cabana or even a floating pool pad so that you can be in the heart of the action and last a full day of partying in the sun.
Encore Beach Club
Second in size and popularity only to Rehab, Encore Beach Club is a long-time favourite of frequent Vegas visitors. Located in the Wynn Las Vegas, the Encore Beach Club is the best place to spot celebrities tanning or relaxing in private cabanas, and the clientele is a diverse mix with a heavy European influence. Electronic and dance music rule at Encore Beach Club, and it isn’t hard to find a spot to enjoy it thanks to three-tiered pools and more than 60,000 feet of space. Whether you are eager to soak in views of Las Vegas Boulevard, listen to some of the hottest DJs from around the world or get luxury service in a cabana with a fully-stocked liquor and champagne fridge, the Encore Beach Club can be the perfect fit for an unforgettable pool party in Las Vegas.
Wet Republic Ultra Pool
Located at the MGM Grand, Wet Republic is another of Las Vegas’ most exciting pool parties. If you are familiar with the name already, it may be because you have spotted it in tabloids, as celebrities ranging from Lindsay Lohan to Price Harry have been spotted here enjoying the sun and fun. The Ultra Pool at Wet Republic is a staggering 53,000 square feet, making it one of the largest pools in all of the Western United States. There are also two salt pools, which can recreate the feel of a trip to the beach without the long drive out of the desert. As with all large-scale Vegas pool parties, Wet Republic boasts an impressive lineup of DJs and pumping music from midday until late at night.
Bare Pool Lounge
Found in the Mirage right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, the Bare Pool Lounge is an adults-only, top-optional pool party less crowded than some of the other Vegas pools but still plenty of fun. There are special events throughout the week, which gather enthusiastic crowds, but the everyday vibe is akin to a happy mellow lounge rather than a dance club. Great music, plenty of drinks, and a youthful atmosphere make the Bare Pool Lounge one of the more sophisticated, but still scandalous, places to kick back by the pool in Sin City.
TAO Beach
If you can’t make it to Bali for an exotic vacation, TAO Beach at the Venetian is the next best thing. Designed with an Asian aesthetic in mind, the whole pool area looks like an ultra-luxury resort in Indonesia, which sets it apart from some of the more generic pools in Vegas. TAO Beach also feels really private and exclusive thanks to bamboo that surrounds the pool area and gives you the freedom to let loose and party without prying eyes. Along with exquisite cocktails like frozen Tao-tinis, guests here will get an extra level of luxury service with things you didn’t even know you needed, like personal body misters and sunglasses cleaners.
Ditch Fridays at the Palms Pool
This event happens every Friday, but it is a staple of the pool party itinerary. The name Ditch Fridays represents the large number of visitors who drive from Los Angeles for the day in order to attend this incredible weekly event. Located in the Palms Hotel and Casino, Ditch Fridays typically has 3,000 guests at any time during the spring and summer. While you can enter, drink, and mingle to have a great time, there are also plenty of chances to upgrade the experience. Private bungalows and luxury cabanas give you the ultimate spot to stay cool in the shade, enjoy drinks, and have the best views of the bands and DJs performing.
Marquee Day Club
If you are looking for something truly extravagant, the Marquee Day Club in the Cosmopolitan might be the ultimate way to spend a sunny day in Las Vegas. Those with the desire to splurge on a cabana won’t be disappointed when they discover that these luxury bungalows are three stories tall, making them larger than a lot of apartments and hotel suites in Sin City. Each cabana comes complete with a private infinity pool as well as staples like reclining loungers, air conditioning and a balcony to view the main pool area. Even if you don’t want to pay for a cabana, the pool itself is a fantastic place to hang out, mingle and recreate a nightclub experience in the middle of the afternoon.
Pool parties are a huge part of Las Vegas, especially in the heat of summer. These incredible destinations are just a few of the hottest place to cool down, enjoy great music, meet new people, and indulge in some fantastic cocktails along the way.
