Know before you book

  • Children 12 and younger are not allowed
  • Drivers must be 18 or older and hold a valid driving licence
  • Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked tour start time
  • A THIRD-PARTY insurance for civil liability is INCLUDED in the price of the tour
  • As for any vehicle rental, please note that clients will be given two options to choose from, to cover vehicle damages either one of these two will need to be chosen in order to rent the Vespa
  • subscribe an additional insurance 20eur per vehicle, not refundable or sign for a guarantee deposit of 500eur on their credit card
  • A valid driving licence is required (although you do not need a motorcycle licence), make sure you have it with you on the tour, and you must be at least 18 years of age to drive, at least 13 years to be a passenger
  • Any participant unable to drive scooters safely may ride double with a partner, or on the guide’s scooter if available or continue the tour on board one of our support vehichles (the Tuscany Tuk Tuk or the minivan, depending which is available) if unable to be a safe passenger as well
  • This tour option entitles client to ride the iconic original PIAGGIO VESPA or Electric VESPA, but PIAGGIO ZIP scooters (which are smaller) are also available (SMART OPTION)

What you can expect

Ride along winding Tuscan country roads just like the Italians do—by scooter. See small medieval villages, take a guided tour of vineyards and cellars, and enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch at a 17th-century farmhouse on this tour that takes you into the stunning countryside outside of Florence.

Ride by minivan to the Chianti countryside, where you start with a briefing and a run-through of the safety specifications of your rental scooter before heading out on your ride.

Travel along picturesque country roads and admire views of the rolling hillsides and lush landscape. Continue on your scooter through medieval villages in the heart of Tuscany, taking time for regular stops at panoramic vantage points for those memorable shots for the album back home.

Stop at a 17th-century farmhouse for a delicious Tuscan lunch of pasta, bruschetta, and cheese. Soak up the scenery of the beautiful vineyard and olive groves. Head on a guided tour of the cellars before enjoying a small sampling of full-bodied Chianti wine and olive oil.
