Overview

Experience Gothenburg from the water on the classic Paddan boat tour, one of the city’s most iconic sightseeing experiences. Departing from Kungsportsplatsen, the tour takes you through Gothenburg’s historic moat and 17th‑century canals, highlighting the city’s construction, defence and maritime heritage. With live guiding in Swedish and English, you’ll glide under 20+ low bridges and out towards the lively harbour.

See traditional shipyards, the fishing harbour, and both modern and historic neighbourhoods. The open‑top boats offer panoramic views—so dress for the weather. This classic tour is ideal for exploring Gothenburg’s waterways and coastal character.
