On this route, we will tour the island, visiting some of the most unique cultural, scenic, and sports sites.
We will start the walking tour through the historic centre of La Laguna, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999.
We will continue exploring the cultural offerings of the destination by heading to Candelaria. It is the main pilgrimage site of the archipelago, known for housing the Virgin of Candelaria, the patron saint of the Canary Islands, in its basilica.
Next, we will head to the Cliffs of Los Gigantes to behold a true natural wonder. This unique natural spectacle, characterised by astonishing vertical volcanic walls by the sea, will take your breath away.
The route continues around the island to Garachico, one of the most charming towns in Tenerife, declared a Site of Cultural Interest by UNESCO in 1944. The uniqueness of this place lies in the resurgence of its old town and port, which were buried by the lava from the Trevejo volcano in 1706.
We will proceed to Icod de los Vinos. One of the most emblematic places is the Drago Park, where the Millennium Dragon Tree, a National Monument about 800 years old and a symbol of the Canary archipelago, is located. You will be fascinated by the beauty of this ancient fossil and the endemic species that inhabit the park.
The excursion ends in La Orotava. This town was declared an Artistic Historical Site in 1976. You will be amazed by the preservation of its streets, its history, beautiful churches and gardens, as well as its restaurants where you can taste authentic Canarian food.
